Meet Mrs. Wright

A little bit about me... I am originally from Los Angeles California. I went to Junior College in Moorpark, California until I decided that I wanted to be a Cosmetologist. I went to cosmetology school in 2004 and received my Cosmetology license in the State of California. After I completed cosmetology school I decided I wanted to move closer to my now husband who was stationed at Fort Sill Oklahoma. I lived in Oklahoma for 7 months until he was deployed to Iraq. During that time my family decided to move to Austin, so I headed down from Oklahoma and started my new life here. I worked in a salon for about 2 years before deciding to go back and receive my Bachelor's Degree. In 2010 our first son Nolan was born. Then in 2011 I graduated from Texas State University Summa Cum Laude. I spent time substitute teaching and long term substituting for 2 years. In 2013, we welcomed our second son Chase into our family. Then in early 2014, I was accepted into the Texas State Teacher Fellows program where I would earn my Master's Degree while simultaneously completing my first year teaching.  I have since then completed the Teacher Fellows program and graduated with my Master's Degree in Elementary Education in the summer of 2015. In May 2016, we welcomed our daughter Quinn to our family.
